About the Project

A clothing brand with huge collection becomes laborious when it comes to managing products with many variants and collections. So, if the brand wanted to make minor changes to the storefront, it would be limited to the E-commerce platform they are using especially if it is not from a Shopify platform. Thus, if the brand was to scale in the future it would be quite difficult.

Being a brand that has huge collection it might be difficult to create good customer experience as there might be too many collections to look into and decide making the customer feel overwhelmed.

The Solution

Outstanding Apparel being a clothing brand with large amount of collections and variants, it is a no brainer to setup the store in a Shopify platform due to the ease in managing and updating the products in the store. Shopify was made to handle any stores that holds huge collections and variants of products. Thus, would make the store easier to scale as more products are added in the store.

Using a premium theme, I was able to implement a Filter and Search feature, allowing users to browse intuitively and find what they were looking for quickly. This will help increase conversion rate and provide customers with a stress-free shopping experience.

To further drive revenue and improve chances of purchase, we added an AJAX Cart (push out cart), so customers can reach checkout without having to leave the page they are on. Also, this encourages customers to continue to browse without being disturbed or distracted.

I also created a feature called "Shop the look". With this feature, I help to promote the new arrival section. It basically shows an image displaying all the different newly arrived products. Interested customer would simply click on the specific product that is displayed on the image. When clicked, it will give more information about that product and they can proceed to the checkout directly for the product. This helps to improve customer's visual experience and thus help increase conversion rate.

The Result

With the freedom to grow and limitless customisation possibilities, Outstanding Apparel has been built with the ability to scale in the long-term and help streamline many laborious tasks. It has also been built with priority in the customer visual experience and ease of use.
