About the Project
The website was planned to be used more as a support to their existing sales on Instagram. Thus, the website should be easy to maintain and changed according to the Instagram content that they are currently handling.
There is also lot of question that might be ask regarding the usage, instruction, and delivery of the product. Thus, it might be very cluttered and difficult to read the FAQ page with too many questions and answers.
The Solution
On the homepage section all the images are made to be fit in a square so they can easily add in their existing images from Instagram into the website. And there is a gallery at the bottom that shows the latest post that is in their Instagram page.
To prevent clutter in the FAQ section, I created an accordion page using custom coding on the Shopify liquid theme and made it dynamic so that the store owner would be able to edit the FAQ and add, remove, and edit any question and answers in the FAQ page without the need of a developer.
The Result
They now have a store that is easily maintainable and updated according to their existing Instagram content without putting in too much effort into creating a new pictures and content with different dimension and aspect ratio just to accommodate the images and content on the website.
Furthermore, having a website, it helps improve the branding of the company. It also helps to streamline the back-end work i.e, handling the invoices and delivery through the Shopify platform.
